We haven't put a picture on it yet, but this will have a picture of a toddler and a baby :) On a side note...those are really Miss Samantha's feet! :D
A lover of all things ART!

This is a new picture technique 'Color Me Mine' is now doing! We can now add a photo of your choice to your pottery of choice! It just has to be put on a special piece of paper that can be fired in the kiln. Cool, huh!?! This is a dog bowl sample that I painted to show the new technique off. Keep an eye out for two other samples!!

Alas, it is finished :) Well, technically I should have 8 bowls, but 4 will do just fine. The colors I chose: Brown, Blue, Yellowish, and a whitish color. I really dig blue and yellow together, and brown will be my base color throughout the house. I also want punches of other colors scattered throughout as well :)
Drumroll please! The finished product! Why it's a clock! ;) This was done with a "wash" technique. The shading didn't come out like I had imagined, but all -n- all, not a bad piece. Does it look too plain? I know there's a lot of empty space, and the apple isn't positioned as it should be to make it more centered. Any thoughts?
Do I have any sushi lovers out there? There's nothing like a nice, fresh, tender piece of raw tuna! I love it! Anyways, back to the point of this blog... This design is a replica from a sushi plate I took a picture of at a restaurant. The plate shape itself is not the traditional sushi style shape, but the painted design is similar to what you would see in most sushi establishments :)
